Filming Underway for
Sportsmen’s Heritage
As you may have heard by now, Team AZOD members are busy in
the field filming footage for their upcoming national television show,
Sportsmen’s Heritage. The show is set to air nationwide in October on the
Sportsmen’s Channel. The Sportsmen’s Channel will be available on your
cable networks April 7th, and will feature 24 hours of
continuous hunting and fishing shows. Run times and locations will be
posted for our viewers when released.
Many of the hunting episodes for the initial season are
already in production, and the crew is busy on the water as we speak.
Team member, Kip Pollay, recently spent a day on the water with
Mr.Baseball himself, Bob Uecker, while the crew from Arizona Wilderness
Productions manned the cameras.
“The
“Ueck” was on the water with us the day after being inducted in the Major
League Baseball Hall of Fame,” said Pollay, “It was a lot of fun and he
is a pretty darn good fisherman as well.” Team member, Louis Urquides is
currently filming a hunt in Mexico.
AZOD.com will keep you posted as the show develops. Several
local professionals including Don McDowell, Joe Owens, and Art Chamberlin
will be taping with Sportsmen’s Heritage along the way. Though the show
will be taped in a variety of locations including Alaska, Canada, Mexico,
and several states, we are all very excited about this new venture and am
looking forward to showcasing some of Arizona’s top destinations as
well.
